Jazz Communion Sunday

On Sunday of this Fourth of July weekend we will have our annual Jazz Communion Sunday, featuring the Mike Tracy Quartet.  Members are:  Mike Tracy, saxophone; Steve Crews, piano; Doug Elmore, bass; and Terry O'Mahoney, drums.  The quartet, long-time friends and U. of L. School of Music alumni, individually and as a group have played a role in the development of what is now considered a world-class program at the School of Music.

 After worship, plan to join us for our All-American covered dish picnic in the Pleune-Mobley Dining Room and outdoors on our new terrace.  Your Fellowship Committee will provide the hotdogs, buns, and drinks.  We ask you to bring a "jazzy" side, salad or dessert - enough for your family plus 4.  No reservations needed.  Invite your neighbors and co-workers: the more the merrier.  Let's pack the pews for a joy-filled, toe tappin' time!
