Sunday Worship, May 16, 2010: Two worship services (9:30am & 11:00 am) w/Sunday School
At 9:30am we have Sunday School classes for all who are 3+ to Adult. The Children meet in the Walker-Nevin Educational Building; the Youth meet in the Youth Rooms of the Pleune Mobley Center. We have three choices for Adult classes:
ENCOUNTERING THE WORD:WHAT JESUS MEANT:The BEATITUDES AND A Meaningful Life with Dr. Doug Slagle is a new class. If you were unable to attend last Sunday, please join them this Sunday in Memorial Lounge.
Also the CALL'D CLASS with C. Ann Gittings in the Session Room of Pleune-Mobley invites you to join them if you haven't before.
The ISSUES CLASS will have the HPC group that worked in New Orleans over Spring break on the Katrina rebuilding program: Chris Valentine, Fred Compton, Patrick & Sheila Welsh, and Patrick Donley, also Ann Blum, Jim Watson, Jo Freedman and Stewart Friedman who will provide an update of the recovery work and how the city if faring.
We have two Worship services - at 9:30am and at 11:00 am. Dr. Fairfax Fair will be preaching at both services. Child care for each service will be provided in the Walker-Nevin Building. (If you do not know where this is, please ask one of our ushers or greeters to assist you.)
