Sunday, May 22, Worship at 9:30am & 11:00 + Sunday School

Welcome to Highland Presbyterian Church - we hope you will join us.  This Sunday we will be recognizing and expressing our appreciation to our Sunday School teachers and Christian Education leaders.  Also during the 11:00 worship service, we will be recognizing our Confirmands. Rev. Doodle Harris will preach "Being a Wine People."  The Scripture readings are Isaiah 9:2-7; John 2:1-11.  We will  provide child care in the Walker-Nevin Educational Bldg. for each service.

Special music: Brenda Kee, organ, "Meditation Religieuse" and "The Fifers (Rondeau)."  The Chancel Choir Quarter (at 9:30) and the Chancel Choir (at 11:00) will sing "Praise His Holy Name."  For more details on our Sunday worship service, go to our website under "Worship and Music" and scroll down to "This Sunday."

We have Sunday School classes from 9:30-10:25 with classes for all ages from 3+ to Adults.  There are four adult Sunday School classes - all of them meeting for the last time this Sunday as part of the Fall/Spring 2010-2011 year.  ISSUES Class is having SHELDON BERMAN, Superintendent of the Jefferson County Public Schools, as the speaker - there will be time for questions and answers. This class meets in the Dining Hall.
