"Church Life" at Highland falls into the capable hands of the church members and staff that comprise The Congregational Life Team (CLT).

The Congregational Life Team of Highland Presbyterian Church is called to encourage and facilitate members of all ages to participate in the life and ministry of the church through fellowship and care.

The Church is called to be a vital and transforming part of the individual lives of its members and of the community those individuals create. To make our vision a reality, we enable members of all ages to participate in the life and ministry of HPC - we work together in:

  • Increasing internal communication to facilitate the flow of information concerning ministries and the mission of the church as well as the needs of its particular members;
  • Planning, coordinating and implementing fellowship events for the enrichment and education of the congregation, making meals and time spent at table together an integral part of our gatherings;
  • Providing for the acute care needs of those hospitalized or homebound, those experiencing life changing events such as a birth or a death, and ongoing care to those with chronic needs;
  • Improving our outreach to and exposure in the Cherokee Triangle and other parts of the city of Louisville by ministering to the needs of people of all ages;
  • Involving and educating visitors and new members to the life of HPC.
