Gifts to Highland's endowment enable church members to provide for ministries beyond the scope of the annual operating budget. Gifts to the endowment also are a way to continue to participate in Christ's ministry through Highland Presbyterian Church even after death. Some people choose to "endow" their annual pledge -- giving a sizeable gift to the church so that each year's interest from a gift can fund the ongoing ministries of the church long after an individual has moved to the church triumphant. Gifts to the endowment of any size may be made at any time, and may be made in honor of someone, in someone's memory, or to commemorate any special occasion.
