Childcare is available on Sunday mornings from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and during any extra worship services throughout the year. From 9:15 to 10:45 Our Infant and Toddlers go to the same room which is located in the Walker-Nevin Building on the middle floor in the third room on the right. Our nursery workers are paid staff members, Mara Thomas and Greta or Sadie Aschbacher. Twos and up are all in Sunday school classes.
From 10:45 to 12:15 Our Infants remain in the nursery, but the Toddler and Twos go to the Twos room or the Fun Room to run and play. The Twos room is located in the Walker-Nevin Building on the middle floor in the first room on the right and the Fun room is located in the basement, first right. The Toddlers/Twos room caregiver is a paid staff member, Greta or Sadie Aschbacher.
For preschoolers and kindergartners, during worship at 10:30 in the summer or at 11:00 during the school year, we offer an alternative for these young children who do not wish to remain in worship. Threes may need to go directly to this room, but it is our hope that Fours and K's would go to worship with their parents and then come out for Bible Buddies at the singing of "Jesus Loves Me." Bible Buddies is located in the Walker-Nevin Building on the middle floor in the first room on the left. This room is led by various volunteers in the summer (volunteer coordinator, Jane Crowley) and is led by our dedicated church member, Shannon Brunner, during the school year. The children hear a story, sing and dance, have a snack, pray, and play.
