SUNDAY, March 14,2010: Daylight Saving Time begins ! Remember to set your clocks FORWARD one hour when you go to bed on Saturday night, so you’ll be on time for church! We will have two worship services at 9:30 am and at 11:00 am. Childcare will be provided in the Walker-Nevin Educational Building. Dr. Fairfax Fair will preach the sermon. Scripture: Luke 15: 1-2, 11-32.
We have Sunday School classes for all ages from 3+ to Adults. The CHILDREN meet in the Walker-Nevin Building. The YOUTH (with the exception of the 8th graders) will meet in the Youth Rooms of the Pleune-Mobley Center.
There will be three Adult Sunday School classes this Sunday: ISSUES CLASS, meets in the Dining Room.
Dr. Doug Slagle's EXPLORING THE BIBLE Class will study "Great Psalms of the Bible" by Clinton McCann (book is available from Melissa Head). This twelve-week series will cover some of the most famiiar and best-loved Psalms,as well as some that are significant but not as well known. This class meets in Memorial Lounge.
The CALL'D Class is back and will meet in the Session Room of Pleune-Mobley. C.Ann Gittings will lead the class, using the curriculum "Saving Jesus" by Living Questions. Please come and explore this study.
