A special thanks to the Chancel Choir; Suzanne Bowman & Jan Ward for blessing us in worship with their musical leadership this morning. We welcome Joshua Borths, who is a graduate student in opera direction at Florida State University. He is in Louisville to direct the world premiere of "Bobok." This chamber opera is based on a short story by Dostoevsky and will be performed May 31 and June 1 at Central Presbyterian Church as a part of the inaugural season of Thompson Street Opera Company. He is subbing for Brian Shaw.
We offer Sunday School for all ages at 9:30 a.m. in the HPC Dining Room.
You can listen to the Sunday sermon here on our website by going to 'Worship' tab at the top and then click on the 'Music' tab, then 'Sermons' or you can pick up a hard copy of recent sermons in the Fellowship Hall by the stairs.
There is designated wheelchair space inside the church with access from the Highland Ave. outside ramp or the Fellowship Hall for anyone who may need it. The area is located in the sixth row from the front, on the aisle of the baptismal font side. Ushers will direct you further if needed. We also offer gluten-free bread at communion.
